Katie and Justin met when Katie started working at Applebee's in Marquette in August of 2008. Justin was already working there and it was his job to train Katie. The two of them got to be friends after Katie starting working. The couple got to know each other and spent some time together, but it didn't really click yet. They started seeing each other again in late spring of the next year. The hung out for a month or two, but again, it didn't stick. Then in October 2009, they got back together and it worked. The third time was the charm! They were inseparable.
Katie and Justin welcomed their son, Darian Scott Morrison, into the world on May 11, 2011. Then on March 31, 2012, Justin proposed, and Katie said yes! The two were elated and could not wait to tell their family and friends. Everyone was happy for them - once they realized it wasn't an April Fools' Day joke!
The next chapter in Katie, Justin, and Darian's lives begins as Katie and Justin wed on June 8, 2013.
